Kriss was born in South of Korea. He grew up and graduated from college at Korea then he served Marine Corps. He spent two and half year at Pohang in Korea. Then he moved to China for study for Integrated Chinese Medicine which is only available in China. ​

 

He attended and graduated from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2004 to 2012, Bachelor of Medicine specialising in Clinical Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. He attended New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM) in 2009, National Diploma Acupuncture (NDA).  The focus of his postgraduate work is on internal medicine, prevention and rehabilitation, pain management, allergies and asthma. 

 

Kriss loves to live in NZ and nature with his wife and four kids. He is also love to activity in our NZ country side also passionate to cycling.

 

​He is a member of  Acupuncture NZ (New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists)

Kriss is highly skilled and experienced in diagnosing where the root causes of problems are in the body. He skillfully combines Acupuncture Needles, Tuina Massage, Cupping and Moxabustion. Where necessary he will advise use of certain herbs and foods to support the healing of the body. During the session, Kriss takes time to educate his clients about the importance of healthy eating according to one's constitution and present condition, the inter-connection of body and mind, the effects of mental stress on the body and vice versa. Kriss will guide you about foods that are good for your health requirements.  He gives very helpful tips to improve lifestyle and well-being of his clients. 

His purpose is alleviating the stress and pain that people feel from having imbalances in life due to sickness, injury, trauma or unhealthy lifestyle patterns.

Kaylah Tierney

Physiotherapist (NZRP)

 

Kaylah is a dedicated physiotherapist committed to helping patients achieve their health and performance goals. With a background in competitive gymnastics, she brings a meticulous eye for detail to her practice. Her many years experience working as a sports masseuse with elite athletes and high performance teams has refined her manual handling skills and enriched her approach to rehabilitation.

 

Kaylah’s involvement in netball and touch football during her youth has given her a deep understanding of the physical demands of sports. This, combined with her personal experience with injuries, fosters a profound empathy and dedication to supporting patients throughout their recovery process to achieve her patients goals. With a specialised interest in lower limb injuries, Kaylah utilizes her extensive knowledge to design effective treatment plans, guiding patients back to their activities with improved strength and function.
